Powers & Abilities Why doesn’t Luffy use gear stacking instead of G4?

Uh maybe because having great pseudo flight for maneuverability, mix between the hardness of Haki and the elasticity of his Devil fruit adding a defensive boost and pulling your arms to release them with explosive force for a tremendous boost in Attack power.
Also the ones they say luffy got rid of his Gear 2 and 3 weakness, who says stacking those both Forms together and fighting for lets say 3 hours 2 wouldnt give Luffy another great drawback that we dont know of.
Oda would probably show us another drawback for the Stacking either way.
But yeah Gear 4 is an absolute awesome powerup compared to the boring Gear 3 for example.
I even let out Tankman and Snakeman, that would make this argument meaningless.
I forgot to write that the advanced version of armament - Haki will give Luffy new opportunities to form new modes of something else.

Yeah, but it wouldn't actually do much would it...
Like, there is no real bonus from gear stacking when you have haki. It just makes you a more obvious target. Not to mention, Luffy is already faster with gear 3rd now. He wasn't using gear 3rd as a gattling attack pre time skip.

That was pre timeskip, now he mastered his Gears. Oda is nerfing Luffy on purpose.

This isn't an example of nerfing. Gear 4th is just better.
Also worth noting, the anime has shown Luffy using gear 2nd and 3rd simultaneously, so I still don't exactly get the complaint, especially regarding the anime at least...
