I just wanna return to Gyou and see what Kanki been doing... no more dead Shin... No more Riboku still retreating... please... 
After all, Kyoukai is going to share her life force with Shin in order to save his life and potentially create a romantic bond between them.

Hara could have simply saved us these 3 chapters n simply made Shin unconscious. Why does it have to be this way

Well that's only the good thing going to happen in this chapter but still as you and OwlKi mentioned, it would Riboku making ridiculous claims.
Why not make shin die and let KyouKai become new captain and finish this arc.

To be fair, as far as Riboku is concerned then as long as he prevents the Qin forces from taking the city of Gyou then he has secured victory for that city is the lynchpin to deciding which side emerges victorious.
If Gyou does not fall then the Qin forces are trapped and will inevitably perish due to lack of supplies and endless Zhao reinforcements.
Another way of looking at Zhao’s losses at the Shukai Plains is that their biggest losses were either Generals that have been inactive for over a decade (i.e. Chougaryuu and Gyou’un) or not true Generals to begin with (i.e. Houken).
In terms of consistently active Generals, Zhao has only lost Gaku Ei, Kin Mou and Earl Kou when compared to Qin’s loss of Ma Kou.
While Qin may not have lost many Generals during the Battle of Shukai Plains, their best dualists in Ouhon, Shin, Kyoukai and Akou, are all temporarily out of commission which is a major hindrance when they are still this deep in enemy territory and do not know if any other battlefield has been won.
Strategically, Riboku is still in a decent position.

Haru wants to show what he hinted in the story about this magical aura that can heal people and it will develop Kyoukai & Shin more. As well showcasing that the Hi Shin Unit wont move without their captain because without Shin, there no Hi Shin Unit. If Shin was just unconcious, it will lose its impact because they know he at least alive and carry him until he awakes.
Also having Shin vs Houken was his hardest fight and the consequences were made in full when Shin supposedly died.

So you are telling me that we waited three chapters just to see a title panel featuring a view of nude Kyoukai from the rear?

Nah but seriously, it is good to see Kingdom go back to more spiritual content. It has been a while since we have seen that side of Kingdom, what with all the recent big battles and whatnot.
I do love how Hara highlighted that scene where Kyoukai talked about the life force sharing technique as if he predicted people would forget about it and bitch about non-existent bullshit.
It is interesting to see both Kai’s sister and Ren again. I was not expecting to see either of them anytime soon, especially the latter. Lol.
I wonder if we will see anyone else’s spirit in this spirit realm?
Houken would be interesting to see as he refused to believe in the inheritance of wills. I am still surprised that him and Shin did not have a clash of ideals during their fight.
I am all up for seeing Papa Ouki and Big Daddy Mougou again.
It would get especially emotional if Shin and his old bro Hyou met once more.
Overall, some rather interesting developments in this chapter. :kizabat:

I find it weird that Houken has never actually vocalized his ideals lol. Like everything that we know about Houken, we know because of Riboku’s commentary and not because Houken himself has ever articulated what he actually believes (right?)
That does seem a bit like a missed opportunity to me, having Houken be such a relevant force within the manga but us not really learning about what Houken’s views are outside of Riboku’s just straight up telling us who Houken is and what he believed feels wrong to me lol.

Indeed. That is pretty much the only thing I truly found lacking in the Shin vs Houken fight was the lack of an ideological or thematic clash between the two opponents that occurs often in Kingdom.
Houken has no problem voicing his beliefs to Ouki and straight up calling him a fool in their dual. Shin has had ideological clashes with Mangoku, Gaimou, Riboku and even Kanki.
To see these two go at it in their final fight and neither of them say anything to the other was a bit odd to be honest.
I suppose if they find Houken in this Spirit Realm (I am calling it that until someone comes up with a better name, lol.) then they could talk to him there.
