I think Aokiji is a tragic character.
I for once do not believe one second he's genuinely working with/for Blackbeard. It may seem to be a detail but while his VC states he has connection to Blackbeard, its VC color is green like civilians instead of black like that blackbeard and his crew mates.

You want the Strawhats to deal with them? If so don't expect them to be anything special, at least 2 of them would be matched up with Franky, Robin or even Usopp.
R5 vs Gorosei is leaps and bounds better than having 60% of the Strawhats running around doing nothing, you can't even use the Admirals as underlings because most of the SH's aren't built like that.
