mihawk said it is harder to become pk, so it only make sense for zoro to be wss before luffy becomes pk
Depends on the name of the game and how it changes. Maybe Luffy finds One Piece, and Blackbeard comes into steal it.

We simply don't have enough information to tell us when or how things can happen. Plus, Luffy has an entirely separate, seemingly harder dream to accomplish than Pirate King

Since Zoro was the first SH to come into contact with his endgame goal (in Baratie).
It will be more fitting for him to be the last SH to fulfill his dream, Zoro vs Mihawk should be the epilogue of the series, witnessed by all the SH. (again to mirror what happened in Baratie, everyone saw his defeat).

I'm mostly certain that Zoro will have a clash with Shanks, he needs to be acknowledged by Mihawk's rival, and that would be either before shanks's fight with luffy or after that.
So Mihawk joining the RHP is a dead idea to me.

After all things are settled (the final war with th WG), the epic & savage fight between 02 Yonko level beasts shall begin.
& it will be more appropriate for the WSS to get a mini arc, + a well developed flashback, not some low tier backstory (what king got).
Oda will touch on Mihawk's past, personality & what shaped his ambition.
Yeah, Mihawk will be the last top-tier we see in action.
:finally:
If Mihawk is the last fight, I would rather have the fight be at the all blue, so more characters can watch this duel. Both Sanji and Mihawk was introduced the same arc, so it seems appropriate to have Sanji dream tied together with Zoros dream since Mihawk connection to both characters. :goyea:

No clown they are the strongest faction together
Against any other faction
Admirals > warlords
Admirals > vice Admirals
Admirals > cpo
Etc
Not Admirals beat everyone combined
My bad for the late respone, had weightlifting
but you realize Admiral's isn't a faction, its marines,cp0,warlords. So it only makes sense if robin told us they're all the highest fighting power indiviually. which she did.

with no stakes, sounds like more of a epilogue thing lol
He randomly turned up in a coffin the first time they met.
An epilogue fight as long as its properly done will be fine. We know the final panel will be the same as the first fight anyway ie zoro will finish with ss

Then Morgans sends out a Newcoo the next day announcing Zoro's defeat of Mihawk, and all the people of the World, in unison, proudly proclaim Zoro as the new WSS?

Don Krieg wasn't the only one there. Word would have spread as the series progressed. Where does it spread in the Epilogue, unless Oda does a "X Years later" type of deal?
Word spreads regardless.
That is the least relevant point.
I doubt shanks and mihawk fought in front of crowds either and that shit reached even wb

I get that. But are you cool with not being able to follow Zoro as the WSS, for the last stretch of the story? Like, you legit never get to see Zoro, as the WSS, in action?

The World is saved. Luffy becomes Pirate King. He's sailing the Ocean with his crew, and not yet WSS as his right hand. Then Zoro randomly fights Mihawk, beats him, and becomes the WSS right as the series concludes.

That's the glorious ending you envision for Zoro?

It's not the goal. It's the journey toward it.
The goal was always gonna be achieved the way the first fight ended but this time yoru will break.

That doesn't answer my question though. Do you never want to see Zoro, as the WSS, in action?

You wouldn't find it much more satisfying if there was an enemy so great during the Final War, that it is up to the new WSS to step in and bring him down?

You want zoro vs imu don't you :myman:
There's no one in the story there for that
