This won't be a thread talking about the status of the Monster Trio or Wings, since I know some people can be really defensive on those two subjects, but instead I wanted to focus on what Jinbe and Yamato would be to Luffy in light of that, since both of them have been brought up in particular as of late in a way that interested me enough to create this thread, such as what dynamic, theme, etc. they could possibly have. I suppose one idea could be "Guardian Trio," going by Luffy being compared to a Wisdom King, Jinbe having been a Royal Guard, and Yamato being talked about in reference to a guardian deity. I'm sure there are more ideas that can be brought up.
General & Others If Jinbe and Yamato won't be Monsters or Wings to Luffy, then what would they be to him?

Jinbei is so many things beyond the Robin/Brook association. Only PL wankers will group his contributions with the likes of Brook and Robin lmao.
He is an emotional pillar to Luffy, and a man that Luffy basically owes his life on so many instances: MF war, post-MF, FMI, WCI arcs. And their bond is also secured by blood too since Jinbei gave Luffy a transplant.
He is also a representation of influence and power to the SHs due to his previous status as a Shichibukai. That means A LOT in the OP world, people will hardly cower at Zoro because he hasn't really made a name for himself yet but they will shit their pants at Jinbei because his reputation is already set.
Yamato is just another Ace parallel for now. Her role has yet to be developed but given that she's read Oden's journal she will likely have a role in uncovering the secrets of OP like Robin. She may also make a name for herself while in the SHs since she has CoC and is the only child of the WSC.
