Shinobu doesnt sound like a traitor at all.
Calamities are so irrelevant lol

Orochi is the one who fooled Oden
Kaido is right to call him a foolish lord.

Kaido : muscles and can take advantage of situations.
Orochi : brain and cant really fight lol

Dynamic wano duo better than Oden & Hyou duo that didn't happen coz Oden was naive to believe he can do it himself.

Orochi is the one who is also playing WG
He knows he has Kaido.

Kaido was savage and chilled this chapter.

Oden despite being naive, the man is carrying 9 huge samurai while being boiled.
His strength dura endurance are something else.

Which hypes Base Kaido AP even more, he KOed such man with nameless strike

Look at the Man blocking Oden easily, a much stronger Oden than the one that clashed evenly with Primebeard

-Orochi is the one who kidnaps people and give them to Kaido as tributes/gifts.

And once again, Kaido never feared fighting Oden and Hyou alliance coz he was weaker than Oden but because of his crew being short in numbers and weaked
Same way he didnt wanna fight BM in a war coz he was unprepared.

I like the chapter. It hurts to see Momo like that and I really grew a lot of respect for shinobu. She could hide, but she is still loyal to Odens family! Before she was hiding for his return and after he still hide for 20 years for the return of the family. Hard to find someone more loyal!

Oden just showed what kind of a goat he is and he remembered me... luffy did something comparable back then with aokiji, which brought him a lot of respect from Aokiji.

i can’t imagine the pain of The retainers. Their lead, their philosophical father, their mentor, all they loved for, just standing in burning oil, dying under the greatest pain, just to save them and they can’t do anything except waiting for his Death finally coming to let him rest forever.

With the panel I can´t imagine that one of the retainers beeing a traitor but we will see later.

I also like that Orochi just want to destroy Wano and his people:
-He is not oblivious of what is happening in the country
-He is not a figurehead
-He is has is own agency
-He is sitting side by side with Kaido
-They seems to have no hierarchy between them.

That is the point why I hate the 5 year plot, Oden know that Orochi didn´t take care for the people of wano, he just want to kill everyone
and also Kaido was a beast too who didn´t hold back. He should know that these two just lying around, he should make a plan b and c in the case if they would break up the promise. Just call out Whitebeard or Rogerpirates and he would take them out of Wano, but I think it also was is proud that he didn´t call them for help. But in wano case he should do that, with this his glorious life end in pain and bring wano in choas...

Lmao right. At the very least Sanji saved them at the end of the day. He did what he was told to do. Which is bake a cake that will distract BM. And he accomplised saving everyone. And his kindness got him and Luffy saved.

Their is difference between Sanji's kindness and Oden's idioticness.

The 5 year gap is a huge flaw.

He could have teamed up with Hyou during thay 5 years before hyou got captured and sent to kaido
They could have destroyed Kaido army a lot

I don't think he resists.....but the red scarbads are spared anyways.


After all Kawamatsu,Denjiro and Ashura Douji face Kaido.

It would be dumb if they fought Kaido and waste Oden efforts for saving them.

His skin was also hyped in this chapter, he was overall a powerfull fighter.
And yeah Toki is great mystery right now, she is to calm for the whole event. She didn´t show anything, im sure Oda hold her character overall because he want to reveal it later in the story. Probably Oden had a plan b but only Toki know it?
We will see more later in the story.

Looks like the possibilities of Shinobu being a traitor are definitively out.
Oden was surely a badass and a selfless man but he was also too naïve to trust Orochi's word.
Orochi shows his true colors and reveal that his motives are of making Wano and its inhabitants pay for what happened to him and his family showing how petty and self-centered he is.

It's time to return to return to the present in the next chapters.
