That’s your fault for severely underestimating Kidd and Law. Kaido went through dozens of characters but they were pretty much fodder to him. Scabbards and Yamato did negligible damage, Kidd and Law‘s attacks are way deadlier. Law is a given hax, and Oda is portraying Kidd to have comparable AP.
Kaido is the stronger yonko, and Luffy by the time he beats Kaido is a certified top tier. Whatever new form he has and more mastery of aCoC means Big Mom will present no threat to the Straw hats anymore. Big Mom is fresh but let’s not act like Kaido’s AP has depleted. His haki was even getting stronger confirmed, and Luffy has been matching that AP. Big Mom will definitely go down this arc, plain and simple. Kid and Law are supernovas and semi-main characters, do you really expect them to lose this?

The gap between kaido and big mom is not that huge, but they have different stats. Kaido is a mythical zoan, stamina/durability/endurance is his forte.
their awakenings have dominated Linlin every time they used them, they have done serious damage and they have forced linlin to sacrifice her lifespan to power up and even still she couldn't defeat them. They are 1 power up away from beating her. If awakening alone could do this much to linlin, they would destroy her if they were to awaken ACoA.
This fight is a high diff for linlin and I cannot think of a single time when an antagonist was pushed to high diff by an ally, towards the finale of the arc, and the ally just loses. Maybe it happened in marienford, I wouldn't really count that.

There is nothing to underestimate. They simply aren't at that level yet, and Oda giving them awakening doesn't change that.
Not to mention Oda has not setup up a single plotline to where Big Mom falling here is detrimental to the Story moving forward, like every other Villain under the sun gets.
I honestly don't see how people could accept Big Mom falling as some random side character after we had to sit through two years of antagonistic buildup of her character to the Straw Hats on WCI. All that hype and build up of the Straw Hats one day liberating WCI, tossed down the drain because people want to get their rocks off over Kid and Law beating Big Mom here and now.
Not to mention Oda has not setup up a single plotline to where Big Mom falling here is detrimental to the Story moving forward, like every other Villain under the sun gets.

Dude no one gives a fuck about Elbaf because with Odas timeline it won’t be a Wano-type arc. Oda said 5 years, years ago. It’ll be a side arc at the best, related to Raftel. We don’t have another 4 years to spend on Elbaf. Maybe a Davy back fight with Shanks’ crew for Usopp to get his shine.
