Like many of the previous posters have said, there is a generational divide in the OP community. I think the older fans of the series are very burnt-out compared to fans who started reading 10+ years ago. I love One Piece, but I have been reading it for 13 years. It’s difficult not to be critical of its low-points.
I assume a good number of Worsgen users lurk or post in the 4ch and 5ch OP generals and threads. Wano is not well-liked among those crowds. It is not even well-liked from the limited number of I’ve seen about it on girl 4ch.
Anything from an anonymous imageboard should be read with a grain (or large grain) of salt, but I tend to trust the overall consensus for older fans on those websites a little more than Reddit or Twitter.
There are many fans on Reddit and Twitter who sped-read the series during COVID quarantines and lockdowns, which might attribute their lack of burnout and criticism. Also, I think it is worth pointing out that some newer fans don’t actually read the entire series up to Wano. Instead, they listen to or read summaries of previous arcs. Since the series is so long, this is pretty understandable. However, it makes newer readers less critical of the current story arc.
Interestingly, I have encountered a similar trend among the ASOIAF community on Reddit and Tumblr.
