I'm honestly starting to believe this. Not even her crew has felt like major antagonists to me. Even Katakuri is too nice in a way lmao. Brulee got a sympathetic flashback. Pudding is now good. Lola/Chiffon are good. So is Aladdin's wife.

If you think about it, Perospero and Oven are like the only assholes in the group, and one was handled in Wano, and the other might honestly be dealt with in a cover story.

Big Mom herself has a completely tragic element to her story/personality

They won the fight, but then again somehow didn't win it.

That's precisely why both the BM and Supernova fandoms are annoyed and not really satisfied right now.

I'd say they won the fight but they didn't really achieve what narrative was pushing for.
It doesn't really feel like they pulled Linlin off her throne or even stole her seat. It all just feels so forced.
Personally I feel like fight would've been a lot more satisfying without all the false hype and "big talk/bravado" around it.

Even Big Mom is written as an overgrown child, she has a chance to redeem herself somehow. It is why I never bought the idea of Luffy outright beating her up. She’s not truly evil like Croc, Hody or Doffy.

BM’s not even that villainous. She wants to create a utopia where there’s no discrimination though her methods are obviously wrong lol. Also she was influenced by Streusen
