Break Week All the decisions Oda has taken in Wano seem to point to Oda losing interest in some of the straw hats

From all the interviews I've seen about Wano, it seems Oda was really excited to start this arc and this is an arc he's been dying to work on for years.

But the second we got to Wano there were like 70 chapters of nothing but side characters and Luffy, Zoro and a little bit of Sanji.

Thinking about this it seems kind of weird that the arc Oda has been dying to work on for ages, his long awaited project neglected 70% of the straw hats for 2 years.

Raizo got a fight and Brook and Usopp didn't lol, I don't mean to be such a downer but the straw hats outside of the monster trio and Kid and Law getting less screen time than the scabbards in Oda's most anticipated, longest arc kinda reveal that Oda has lost interest in his main characters

For Oda japanese scrabbards are more important than main characters. They are so important that they get to fight main arc villain which no other side character in any arc got. Even they got, they were.finished in an instant to further hype arc villain. On the other hand, Kaidou became a victim for Oda bullshit samurai fetish. It is so much that someone like Iden wanked very hard despite the feats are not upto his hype.

Oh btw you are wrong in some parts. The only people who didn't get fights are brook, usopp, and nami. Jack is also a victim.

This. And Hyougoro. And the 4 Yakuza (though minimal). And 4 Supernova. And Yamato. And Carrot/Wanda/Minks. And Marco.

And that's just the alliance side. Kaido's side had 11 major villains (Kaido, 3 calamities, F5, 2 Supernova), 10 Numbers (though minimal), Big Mom, Perospero, Fukurokuju, and Orochi.

While I would have wanted ~5-10 more chapters for her crew, it's better that the BMP weren't present. It seems like they'll be at Elbaf anyway

Zoro had several years of not being in the manga, is related to Wano either through blood or at the very least by the very swords he wields and Kuina's blood, and his counterpart Killer was given screentime to hype Kidd. Of course it should be a big arc for Zoro.

Sanji had an entire arc dedicated to him and Brook was very important in that arc.

Usopp and Nami both got shafted by being against opponents too strong for them to handle properly.

There are 5 main straw hats:
Luffy - The Protagonist
Zoro and Sanji - Luffys top two
Usopp and Nami - The characters people are meant to relate to

These characters are always important in almost every arc.


The other straw hats take turns in importance

Brook had a lot of shine in WCI hence Franky and Robin are getting a lot of shine in Wano.

Jinbes a new character so he’s getting a lot of shine for the time being.

Scabbards are main character along with Luffy. This is logical for them to have more screen time.

But doesn't deny the fact all other strawhats had poor development.
