Remember u said that the anime is none canon so carrot doesn't have a purpose or dream because she hasn't talked about the so-called “ WILL OF PEDRO" in the manga since WCI when Pedro believe luffy is going to be the dawn for the mink in wano just she goes forward just to be part of the raid just like a side character meanwhile Yamato purpose is to fight on the side of wano for opening with momo kinemon and the other, and luffy and his crew to help momo. The coming of the Dawn seems to be shared by the Kozuki faction and Mink Tribe so it really isn't a unique dream. This Wano battle seems to be the big push for the Dawn to happen or start.
Dreams and Wills are personal. Pedro wanted to ride with Roger who became the Pirate King. If we are to believe Pedro thinks the same of Luffy, then part of his Will is to ride on the Sunny. Knowing how long Pedro waited for that moment yet would sacrifice his chance so that Luffy can accomplish his dream is remarkable. For Carrot or whomever to inherit that Will, a more in-depth interaction between them displaying and explaining what is being inherited gives us the readers an understanding of its importance to both characters.
However, we only see a short flashback showing that Pedro knew Carrot was a fist fighter not a swordsman. And that shining moments are possible for Carrot. Nothing about the Dawn. Nothing about Pedro's core beliefs, past journeys, or dreams. The personableness is lacking between them IMO. I surmise that Pedro has not been completely forthright on his exact Will or Dream. As a fan, I would like that to be explored.

Tailor: Nami has shown some skill stitching Luffy's strawhat. It would be a useful role to fix the sails and ropes but not likely as the best for this role IMO is Strawhat Commander of the 5th division Leo. Candidate is Kin'emon thanks to his DF ninjutsu.
Chronicler: Nami, Usopp, and Robin all have been shown noting information throughout the journey. If a Chronicler were to join it would need to be someone organized and persistent in chronicling everything. Not likely IMO. Candidate is Yamato.
Lookout: Most if not all Strawhats have been shown being a lookout on a ship and/or looking through binoculars. It's quite peculiar actually that no one has been introduced as a lookout nor any Strawhat consistently taken the role. So I'm under the impression if a new crewmate is the "lookout" their position will not be introduced as so. Qualification Wall: Viola. Candidates are Vivi, Carrot, and Pedro.
Apprentice: IMO someone who is comparable to past apprentices in strength/capabilities and age. After all they have to hold their own in the New World. Usopp, Nami, and Chopper are big enough liabilities. 2 Emperors, an Emperor's Right Hand, 2 Mink Kings, and a former Warlord have been introduced as so. Big shoes to fill. Candidates are Yamato, Carrot, and Tama.
Shipguard: Strangely introduced back in East Blue with the Meowban Brothers but never to be introduced with other characters. Most if not all Strawhats have protected the ship but someone qualified in guarding Sunny could be a worthy addition. Qualification Wall: Kuma. Candidate is whoever inherits the Paw Fruit to be able to simultaneously guard Sunny and adventure on land.
Whatever other positions that make sense but those above are most likely.

Im afraid you wont get to see any more exploration on Pedro im afraid. When he was around, i wanted him to join the SH and witness the dawn on the Pirate Kings ship. It made sense. He was a great written character, and he fit well on the ship. A shame hes not around anymore and we are left with Carrot instead

The people anti Yamato are same people who were against Jimbei joining
There is a difference between a "whoosh" and something like floating in midair. This is a competely different ability. If you don't understand that I don't know what to say to you.
Like Brook didn't had One. Like Jinbe didn't had one. Like Franky didn't had one. You are confusing a strong storyline with a story centric arc. Those are different.
In a strong storyline, the character plays a high role in the story (Like Yamato in Onigashima or Usopp in Water seven). In a story centric arc. The character is the CENTER of the story.
