Here it's mentioned as him losing + what's the point of saying he is defeated...when he already lost multiple times but was not declared a loser...The whole thing from the last chapter will seem pointless......only way I can see is Oda will reveal that Luffy is indeed Jesus Luffy. :cheers:

yes luffy is jesus, joyboy sungod nika and all that. Luffy is the mc so its only natural he will take out the main boss.
All that talk about his awakening and that it must be prevented at all costs only proves that luffy still has 1 more final show left for us
You can doubt Zoro and Sanji but never doubt Luffy.
He always pulls through when it looks like all is lost.

Only issue with this is will oda bring other defeated characters back or not. Taking such decisions without much planning(obvious at this point) will just add to his pile of shit.
