One Piece definitely needs another decade to really justify its major climax its been setting up. There are FAR more characters than what we have at Wano left. There are no less than like 4 major factions left who may or may not be antagonistic to the crew.
There is simply way too much to think we are near the end. Even the "end" could take 5-6 years by itself, and we aren't even at that stage post Wano. Wano is a 4 year arc tying up a 10 year plotline. And what follows is even bigger than this.

you confuse everything yamato says that kaido's power is unstable and she deduces that his power is weakening she just hypothesizes while in luffy's case it's factual
the real indicator in the arc to understand that luffy is weakened is momo who points it out several times since luffy lost his first G4 when he got to the roof and this continues until now.
we know that the one who has the best perception/CoO of the arc at the moment is momo and he never said that kaido's power was weakening.
luffy also received much more damage than kaido.

That doesn't happen the way you think lol, stop saying it does. The raid is over 60 chapters long and showed 90% of the action on the page. Most characters got the longest fights they've ever gotten in this series already (i.e. Kid and Law, Zoro and Sanji).
Just because Oda switches scenes to delay events, does not mean shit gets offscreened the way you think. Major plot events are not offscreened when it involves the crew.

He wasn't dying.
He was dying exactly after he took on Akainu cause he lost half his head.
Even Law was able to tank Kaido's Thunder Bagua proficiently despite not being struck that well and got up without help, meanwhile Whitebeard's gura strikes kinda messed up perhaps the most durable Marine Admiral. Luffy also did tank many Kaido attacks so far and particularly potent ones at it.
No offence implicated but if you think my take is stupid you truly need an IQ test.
Am aware Drunk Kaido is probably a bit stronger than that but his AP is generally overrated, Zoro's itself looks consistently better. Luffy would have easily gotten more damaged than this if he ended up being struck by those enraged Whitebeard Gura strikes man.
Kaido's forte is his durability and resilience rather than his offensive prowess. Don't get misled by the fact early Wano Luffy was one shot.
