Jew D. Boy

I Can Go Lower
Damn. he's really still mad about this. :neesama:

The realisation dawned on him a lil too hard I guess. However, not the only realisation some should be having right now though, lmaooo.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This has all been inevitable for months and now we're properly seeing the fruits of Oda's labour in developing the YamaMomo bond all this time.

She is his guide. The one he can understand the most. His partner. In a way, his own idol. She teaches him how he should act. How a shogun should act. And it's so patently clear that Momo needs her.

Contrary to what our resident sake brewers might think, no Oda did not build up this entire relationship from scratch just for shits n' gigs. He'd only do so if there was a purpose in Yamao and Momo being so close, going into the future.

He's spent next to zero time building any bonds with Yamao and the crew. Not a single straw hat even knows Yamao by name. Forget being seen as a family, or even a friend...the vast majority of the crew does not even know she exists... Meanwhile Oda spent all of her development time building up her trust and camaraderie with Momo.

Absolutely hysterical how blatant it is at this point. The two are sticking together.

I know you don’t understand this, but I have other things and people to talk about here; Yamato is clearly the only thing you wanna discuss, so you exclusively come here to complain about a fictional character you don’t like whereas I have actual pleasant conversations outside of this spot. Which one sounds like the bigger loser to you??

Yup, a single panel will be narratively enough to go from 99% to 100%

Please oda doesn't even give her a speech only a one-liner meanwhile Yamato is about to see Luffy's (CAPTAIN) new form so if u think carrot is about to get any shine in the next chapter u is delusion
I don't expect any shining moment for Carrot in Wano

Surely this very specific prediction won't backfire?
:sanmoji:

Though I won't lie in saying that I'm interested in how it's going to play out.
:usosmug:

Well the stakes are indeed high

Because if one panel will be enough to confirm Carrot as a strawhat.

0 Panels - In other word, no reaction from Carrot will lower her chances, even by my standards. I would say from 99% to 75%

Like I said on twitter..

The next two chapters will be crucial for the CarrotForNakama Theory

--

A reaction from Carrot toward Luffy is the one panel I'm waiting since the death of Pedro. This moment is EXACTLY the right time to do it.

Let's wait and see

Logistically it makes their trip a lot easier. The Straw Hats almost always split up and take a while to see the surroundings before meeting the big shots in land. A giant dragon would just be a speed running tool for them

also there’s a lot of themes regarding Kaido and Momo that point to Momo being the one to stay while Yamato leaves
If the Dragon is an issue, so is the cloud that can zip BM around. They don't even need a ship. Zeus-tact can just get them anywhere

I get what you mean, but Momo also fits a lot of themes Oda likes to use for straw hats.

Momos fruit was still a failure, and I think we’ll start to realize why the more we see Momo try to use his fruit.

I think if we look at themes both Momo and Yamato are good candidates.

Momo is a mix of Robin and Usopp. He wants to be like his father and grow up to be a dependable leader, but he also wants to know the secrets in Raftel and what Joyboys role in the world will be as well as his own role in this grand scheme of things. He also mirrors his father very well who left wano because he didn’t want to be Shogun, whereas Momo would leave wano to become someone worthy to be shogun.

Yamato has less themes (only cause we don’t know her as much) but she has very solid basis. She wants to be free of emotional and physical chains caused by her father. She wants to leave wano and explore the world like oden did. Even if you don’t think she’ll join the straw hats there’s 0 chance she’ll just hang out in Wano for the rest of her life.

I think it’s a “failure“ because Vegapunk didn’t want the WG to have such a strong fruit at their disposal tbh

LOL at people wanting Momo, the shogun, to be babysitted... Ever since his intro, his development is leaning towards manning up without too much guidance from his subjects... Other world leaders, despite being weak, were seen to have balls such as Cobra...

And this is Shogun of Wano we're talking about, leader of the land known because of its warriors by the outsiders...
