I think the matter will probably be solved this year but I bet the alliance will first have to beat their enemies before we acknowledge more about the new nakamas in a way that constitutes a solid improvement.

Luffy had to inspire Momo to stand up and say his true feelings. Momo declared to Kaido he would be shogun and bit him to show his resolve.

Ace had to inspire Yamato to open up her heart and say what she wants. She declared she wanted to go out to sea (and later said to Kaido himself with Luffy) and knocked out the statue (later fought him) to show her resolve.

What is unique about Carrot? What is her role model? What will she has?

Nami was introduced a 4 island before.

Yamata was mentioned in the beginning of the war.

Carrot wasn't even important enough to be mentioned.
