I am proud yamato stronger than carrot
I like her personality little bit more she brings out a tomboyish and yankee style type of character that we have never seen in one piece.
I also like the fact she represents the badass female character
She is not perfect by any means. She is bit of troublemaker and not really brightest person around. She makes up for it with her own strength and her epic speech in the latest chapter

Hating a character is understandable when that character is malicious, mean, bad or whatever. When a character is nothing but positivity, hating that is the testimony of a toxic behavior. Wether it's in real life or for a fiction. ow the problem is that it's not just a blind hate, it's also a degrading hate, with degrading comments. All of that is a proof of unconscious sexism in that case.
Believe me or not, this is none of my business. I have fought enough toxic and sexist individual to recognize the behavior anywhere. And here, it's obvious as the light of day.
You are right, we should "understand" those poor men who are sexist, homophobic and transphobic.. Poor men, we don't know what they went through, let's sugar coat them.
I'm sorry, I thought my question was pretty simple to be answer simply. I don't know how to rephrase it with more efficiency.
Because if Carrot join, the simple fact that she was beaten was a setup for her character arc. This kind of setup will lead her to overcome this defeat later. Simple character progression logic.
I'm not talking about Yamato here, there is no need to bring her into that discussion

This was a description to make someone understand their specific begavior, a behavior that was like the one of that bird walking on a check game, not caring about the game at all, just wreaking the thing. I don't like to use animals as slander. But this was done badly, this felt like an insult and this was taken as one so I apologized because of that:
