General & Others Ace’s Novel : Part 2

Eh, i get what you are saying but nothing implies he grew stronger than bm for example. But i get what you mean. Either way they are all pretty much equall anyways with sligh diffrences( an akainu and aokiji situation if you will)
yea thats basically what i mean. tho I'd favor shanks over anybody not named kaido righy not. the actual difference is marginally tho

that part was a misunderstanding by @Rivaille I think,
Ace: “Which means, there’re no place in the New World for a rookie like me to cut in”
Thatch: “Right......though, Red Hair did climb up from there and became an Emperor”
oh so it is bullshit?

:shocking: nothing really changed since 2017/8 when the novel came out.
I look over the japanese ver and made some notes @Rivaille
I think people should read over it
hope you don't mind :)
I am open to questions and doubts.
Thanks Eten

The ultimate individual fighter remains Kaido.
Better pirates : WB Roger
Ace being Ace
BM the exceptional Yonko, having the strongest family.

Thanks and do not hesitate to correct any mistake I might have done :giggle:

Concerning the Mihawk/Shanks part, I have two instances where it is named :

Page 50 you have those sentences : « Shanks Le Roux était l’une des figures emblématiques de l’âge d’or de la piraterie. Ses nombreux duels contre Mihawk « œil de faucon » avaient défrayé la chronique, et malgré le fait qu’il lui manquait un bras, il avait réussi à rejoindre le groupes des 4 empereurs » .

Which can be translate by « Red Haid was one of the key figure of the golden age era of piracy. His several duels with Mihawk « hawk eyes » had made the headlines, and despite the fact that he lost an arm, he joined the 4 emperors ».

Page 67: « Shanks était surtout connu pour ses nombreux duels contre Mihawk, le meilleur sabreur du monde. »

Which can be translate by : « Shanks was mostly known for his several duels with Mihawk, the world’s strongest swordsman »

Did those part do not exist or are mistranslated?

I might’ve missed it but since japanese and french ver probably has different page number, can you tell me the chapter number?

Worst

Custom title
-It is say that Kaido existence is horrific in itself. And that his crew are more a group of delinquent than a pirate crew
(Rivaille’s note : these depictions of the emperors are introduce as rumors)
-It is said that Kaido is the WSC because of his apparent immortality and that he is a ferocious fighter.
(Rivaille’s note: basically, Kaido is stronger than WB as an individual fighter but WB is stronger than Kaido in term of piracy) (Fair enough)

Leaving that here...
"Kaido? You will never take down that thing." - Yonkou, Charlotte Linlin

Chapter 2.
It is after Ace asked Shanks about his scars on the face.
“When it comes to the heroic tales of Red Hair Shanks, what came to mind was his duel(s) with the strongest swordsman Mihawk.”
This is more like Ace’s thought, and what it implies is that their duel is his most well known story (at least to Ace).

Also, can you check over the other notes I made? Some could be mistranslation on my side, of course :)

Is it duel or duels ?

I check them and add them to my original post.
Certains things cleared up my translations so I add them as note.
Some were clearly giving an other meaning so I just put your translations instead of mine.

I will add what you just said to my first post for Moe clarity and transparency. Thanks again for your help :)
