I don't actually care either way, you said "nuh uh it'll suck if that happens." It already sucks so what's your point? Lol. If it's a weird flex it's because I'm not sure how you actually expect me to respond. I'm pretty sure the rough idea is 120 volumes, given Marineford being a radical shift as the halfway point leading to the timeskip and other little things like that. But clearly no one really knows, even if we're going by Oda and his staff.

The editor literally came out last year and said 20-30 volumes remain, which is 120-130. Right there suggests there isn't a "rough" idea of 120, it's a wider range.

It's also just whatever the author manages to do in a particular time span. At 3 volumes a year, getting to 120 is going to take almost 6 years to do. 130 is closer to 9/10.

But Oda NEVER finishes things with the estimates he wants us to belive. I'm just pointing out, that far more important things exist beyond Kaido and there are multiple islands left. To expect all of it to end in 6 years is weird, especially when Wano took 4 years alone.

Luffy's main opponents always get more fleshed out powerwise. I really doubt Kaido is going to be a Big Mom 2.0.

Robins ability would immobilize or disrupt Kaido for a short bit. Frankys radical beam is incredibly powerful and always has been. Jinbes martial arts can likely knock Kaido around a bit. It’s not about doing damage but creating openings for Zoro and Sanji.

And Sanjis fire is definitely strong enough to damage Kaido

The straw hats won’t get murdered. It’s just people will finally see just how strong the straw hats actually are rather than just assuming they’re fodder.

I'm literally saying he fought people already before it became a 1v1. It has been solely about Kaido and Luffy since 1026, so 21 chapters to the date. It has not changed, nor has anything in the story suggest it's meant to.

literally everyone getting up doing absolutely nothing suggest that luffy may indeed lose here , and again not sure if ur a awakening downplayer for kaido but he still has that in his reserve.

I also want to point this out one of the reasons oden loss was because he wanted to do this on his own instead of pulling up with roger and his crew.(chap 958) Luffy keeps wanting this 1v1 and he keeps losing and yet oda told us what his strongest ability was back in chap 561 via mihawk, again you can deny it all you want but its not out of the realm of possibility that oda highlights this and actually makes this a group battle showing off that strength of luffy.

So two people able to fight and defeat Tobi Roppo isn’t as strong as killer because?

Zoro will get back up and Sanji is more than strong enough to deal significant damage.

And no they’re not. The strongest scabbards are no where’s near as strong as Sanji. The weakest scabbards don’t seem any stronger than Chopper.

Kaido is already more fleshed out. Heck it honestly wouldn't even be far-fetched if the next attack of Luffy will end it. Besides if Kaido truly does get awakening how could Luffy possibly still win? Gear 5 lightning storm kong king super mega gun gatling? Not even sure anyone can take this fight serious anymore if that is where it goes. Kaido is not that big of a deal. It's inflated w*nk cause of yet another fake win against gear 4 Luffy.

He is a mythical creature, a dragon that is. So his toughness and recovery can be explained without awakening. And Hybrid is standard for every Zoan, so using Dragon specific abilities in Hybrid or Base doesn't classify him as awakened. Luffy's awakening for example not only boosted his base stats, it gave him a set of new abilities.
