I think the possibilities are equal, I see the same level of parallel between Ode/Yamato and Carrot/Inu-Neko. Personally, I believe that no one else will join the crew.

Theres so much more evidences and she has actual interactions with people in the crew not just luffy

Chopper’s the closest one to Carrot in the crew and he don’t give a fuck if she’s trapped in an inferno (especially bad to Minks).

Only cares about his crew.

If you think Luffy not mentioning Yamato last chapter was bad then this is fucking tragic. Luffy at least barely knows Yamato. Chopper’s spent weeks with Carrot and is her “big brother.”
