Kaido : "Haki is strongest of them all!! Thats why Roger able to conquer the world without a devil fruit."
Also Kaido : Use another strong ability from his devil fruit to tank Luffy attack.

And what's the point of it? The idea of one DF>another DF as the deciding factor in a battle has ended with the introduction of haki, and advanced haki has put the last nail in the coffin. In a top tier battle where advanced haki is profound, there's no place for DFvsDF narratives.
Yeah because this clash would happen without their dfs. Luffy in base with his max haki is low/mid diff material for his g5 form
DF plays a major role in battles, even in top tier ones
Admirals rely on their dfs
Unless a DF can overcome Akainu's haki then that old (pre‐timskip/early post-timskip) narrative can become relevant again. Or another haki less battle like the one between Meme and kid/Law.

Flames were never a threat to Kuzan. Just like Ice isn't a threat to King. Otoh, you have to deal with Kings swordsmanship, air superiority, and durability

I don't understand why some think Kaido wouldn't be incredibly skilled and powerful with his DF powers just because he said haki is the strongest power.
