Both you and Jo_Ndule were wrong....Zoro was not figuring out anything....he just said...."that guy......"....I don't know how both of you got into a conclusion that won't indicate any of the statement you have mentioned////
I disagree.

Zoro fought him earlier. It's reasonable for Zoro to believe Kyoshiro was an enemy then since he protected Orochi.

Now Kyoshiro shows up and attacks the enemy ship instead of theirs. He's starting to realize more going on than what he sees. That's the reason he stopped in mid sentence.

I always though the alliance getting their big L during the war in Onigashima, but im also believe in the past that Katakuri would beat or at least get a draw against Luffy soo... Right now the event go into a full all out war and im not sure anymore if a second war gonna happen or if Oda really decide to beat Kaido already in Onigashima which wouldn´t lead a three round.
By the end of this saga, Kaido will definitely be defeated, and Luffy will solidly be established as at least on his level. The alliance will likely suffer a big blow in between, but in the end, there’s no doubt that they’ll be victorious. If the yonkou look out of Luffy’s reach currently, think back to how Crocodile and Lucci were untouchable (literally in Croc’s case) when they were introduced.

The story is falling back to its usual patterns, and it’s too close to the end for yet another set of training arcs. Big Mom’s struggles in WCI and Kaido getting knocked around by Luffy weren’t gags, they showed us that Luffy was already nipping on their heels, and with a few power ups can potentially best them.

Since the timeskip, Luffy has viewed the yonko and admirals as a solvable problem. When he got imprisoned by Kaido, he got to work figuring out how to solve it.
It's finally so good to see the Strawhats again after 8+ years
This alone puts this chapter as one of the best in a long time.
Anyone else find it weird that no one is helping Shinobu or Momo? lol
Yeah, Shinobu looks inches away from death.

Luffy isn't going to be on kaidos level after this arc, but he'll be finally able to solo a yonko at least extreme difficulty

Luffy using G4 for a ship is either to the « cool effect » or to show that G4 is as casual as G2 now...which implies that he has something else in store now:bamathink:

And yeah, Law and Kidd are probably on Luffy tier because as I said several times, Oda will rather respect the symbolic and the character’s dynamic that he created than respect some fanmade tier list...
The characters are as strong as they need to be. They do not have to prove that they are at this level by accumulating feats, if Oda decide that they are A level they are at A level:watchout:

Law calling Luffy a loser and act like he is better than him was...weird:jay-he:
I get that Oda wants to revive the Sabaody interaction but after Dressrosa and after the several interaction between Law and Luffy the former should not treat Luffy like that. But that is the downside of Oda’s politic about character’s dynamic :jordanmf:

Denjiro saves the day and make Kinemon look like a genius :youcraz:
I don’t know why Oda make Kinemon to be the samurai version of Buggy and Usopp but that was funny:kawak:

Sanji with gloves is classy as fuck :eeke:
Franky outfit :denzimote::denzimote:

Interesting enough the M3 lost they top knot and are back to their usual outfit with a piece more.
Luffy get a cape, Zoro get a new sword at his side and Sanji get gloves. interesting because they will close the « Yonko saga » like this as if Oda was trying to show, via their outfit, that the three of them gaînés something during this saga :quest:

-Luffy’s cape might represent his new stature. He is one of the emperors and he has a 5600 men fleet under him.
-Zoro’s new sword might represent that he get closer to his dream of WSS
-Sanji’s gloves might represent that he has accepted his origins even tho he still hate his family
:bamathink:

In term of character development, that means that they have matured. In term of strength that means that they are stronger now than their Sabaody counter part. Which means that they grew in strength recently : Luffy by mastering « penetration » and by having a new G4 form, Zoro by mastering Enma and having a technic that will use Enma spécificity to the fullest, Sanji by mastering the RS and having a technic that use the RS specificities to the fullest
Really eager to see all that
:hope:

So the pompadour was fake...cool because I prefer Kyoshiro without it:datas:

Can’t wait to see people put Kyoshiro on YC level because of the DC he shown (on « mere wood ») while they have said during years that DC is not a proof of being a YC level character :watchout::leohah::leohah:

Now that all the samurai’s plots are resolve (bar the fightingwise ones) I hope that we will have more insight on the beast pirates. So I expect act 3 to end next chapter a d act 4 to be part fights part Beast pirates flashback:finally::finally:
Excelent resume of the situation 👌

Yes, because realizing Kyoshiro is not an enemy after he attacked the Beast Pirates, even though the Beast pirates thought he going to save, them is so difficult.

Zoro is lucky, Kyoshiro blocked one of his none haki attacks. A commander level character blocking a none haki attack from another commander level character is a huge feat these days. We all saw how Cracker blocked Luffy's G2 and G3 haki attacks.

What’s the difference?

Looking at past arc bosses, Luffy almost never got a “clean” victory and he probably won’t here either. There were usually some asspulls, some assistance and so on, but he still won.

Awful chapter btw.
But at least Oda is being consistent with this awful arc

More of Luffy vs fodders and he even goes G4.
More shitty cover story.
More Nine Red Scabbards being portrayed as Nine Red Scrubbards (2 last chapters only: Inu never investigated traitor, scrubbards got fooled by Kanjuro, Kanjuro the former Scrubbard got fooled by Denjiro, and Denjiro the apparently smartest Scrubbard now making his own headcanon about Kinemon)
Well, at least the Lolden Piece flashback is now over (y)(y)
