There isn't anything to show your theory about her being a parent guide for a 28 year old when Kinemon is still alive and His sister too so try again
It's not a theory, it's a theme, it's Oda writing Yamato AS a parent for Momo to enhance the theme of the parent/child relationship in the arc. Nothing complicated.. That's called Milking mate. Sigh..
You're the one talking about Yamato going to be a parent guide for Momo 😭😭😭 Like where you get that from a Character who's want to be free
From everything we have seen from their relationship, if you can't figure that out, I guess there is no helping you.
1. It seem that things our patch up when cat viper defeat perospero. You saw carrot hugging cat viper after perospero defeat right? You do not see carrot still be hunted after Pedro sacrifice and feeling ashamed that she cannot do anything moving forward.
Yeah it's not about Pedro, again you are completely missreading the character arc of Carrot, it's about the danger of the sea . And the trauma won't heal wether she hugs neko or not, it's not healed mate.
2. Not reason behind she should continue her journey with them. That shows you she is not ready to manage the bigger threats like I said, going back zou would be the best possibility choice for her as of now. Her joining the crew against stronger opponents and Her fight being off screen is a big no
Yes there is. Her own characterisation and
development inertia. If you still don't understand what it is, go read that page:
Here
In short, carrot has been characterized as someone loving the sea and getting out of her environment by herself to experience what she loves, so to come back, she will need a major force or she will do it AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN. Just coming back wouldn't make ANY SENCE on a narrative basis. It's a narrative NECESSITY mate, nothing you can do about it.
3. Having cat viper defeat perospero is the equivalent how Kyros defends Rebecca and avenging his partner death.
Wrong, it's not. If that was the case, Oda wouldv pointed that out while defeating perospero, he did not.
Again, The arc of Carrot is about her OWN journey and the appreciation of HERSELF, it's not about the trauma.
4. the storyline has been resolved there no new storyline carrot to tell us. She has no new ability that she has in store us that makes her different any other mink.
That's because you have a very poor creativity. There is a LOT of storyline that Oda could told us about Carrot. So... Wrong again.
What is the reason why carrot wants to go on adventure in comparison to Yamato?
Proving her self worth, and enjoying the wonders of the world.
Here you go, you have here a better reason than Yamato.
She does not have past that worth mentioning or exploring.
Its irrelevant, you are still reasonning like a simple fan, the backstory is not relevant in the case of Carrot.
She just did it base on her carefreeness and her curiosity she never had bad experience that affect her freedom of doing what she wants.
And it changed her life forever, so trust me that she will keep doing that.
was still free but close off from the rest of the world.
Technically, Carrot was not free, the mink are hunted down just like the fishmen. Zu is therefore the Mink's prison at least symbolically.
Fallacious, her reasons comes later.
Reminder that Yamato was confirmed as the next strawhat in chapter 1016 and everything else since then was copium.
Too bad it was following a subversion dialogue. You still don't understand what it is ? Ahhh.. too bad..
"One Piece isn't that deep"- Eichiro Oda
The same mangaka that made the whole fanbase think the Minks had no idea where Raizo was. Or the same mangaka that shocked almost everyone by introducing time travel. Or the same mangakeconnected too story lines Laboon and Brook with an intervalle of 200 chapters or connected the Smile fruit with the smile of people... and hundreds more revelations and trickeries...
But yeah "One Piece isn't that deep"
.... until it is.
Ignorance is conforting, I get that. But sometime, it's actually better to face our own bias.
lf Yamato doesn't join, it was a damn really good bait..
Well that's the point.
someone is either plain stupid, or blind, or maybe combination of both to think that Onigashima is NOT included as part of Wano’s country to fit his agenda for Yamato to stay. It’s like saying Hokkaido island is not part of Japan just because it’s separated from the main Honshū island.
Yamato who was stuck on that little island most probably don't care about your maps. She was stuck on a skull forced to watch her father be a bully. So yeah.. Wano would be freedom to her.
The shogun doesn't have to always have 9 retainers. They're called the nine red scabbards just because there happened to be nine of them. No one needs to "fill spots" and no one is going to be prevented from joining just because there are already 9.
I agree, that why I think Yamato will be the only retainer of Momo and the 9 red scabbard will become Daymo
Honestly after the last chapter, saying Yamato won’t join and 🥕 chances are better is plain delusional
No one said that
The reason why so much time was spent on Carrot in WCI was so that she could be a fun character for the crew to bounce off of in place of all the other Strawhats. She was a placeholder character, and she faded from relevance once the rest of the crew popped back in
You're overcomplicating things dude
A fun character doesn't need to be on a post on the Sunny, A fun character doesn't need to have an entire chapter dedicated to them, a fun character doesn't need to be characterized like a strawhat WITH the strawhats. A fun character is like Chimney, it usually stays on the side, but it doesn't become major in One Piece. Being just a fun character doesn't explain all the mythos and treatment Carrot had, only something narratively stronger can. The placeholder hypothesis doesn't make sence easier, having less strawhat make the story more efficient, not the opposite, so adding a difficulty for no reason doesn't make ANY sence.
