I guess you could interpret it as ‘strongest man in the world’ given that Sanji doesn’t add the qualifier of ‘strongest swordsman’, he just straight up calls Mihawk the strongest.

Be patient my man. Oda didn't make the Grandmaster train just to fight King. Asura alone would of sufficed otherwise.

We know how Zoro has barely expressed anything of the results of his 2 years training. For all we know he might have developed a new technique we are unaware of.
