"The term "stupid" is, on some level, invective. You also haven't actually established that said logic is bad, you've simply dismissed it. I can understand not wanting to get into a drawn-out argument with a player you know isn't Town, but then you can simply disengage, it does not and should not stop me from playing."
"I think this is fairly short-sighted, as the idea that you'd be an ummoveable wall in the way of scum is difficult to believe. I can attribute this to posturing, to make scum think twice about targetting you, but then we come to another issue. That being the example you set. Let's say, for the sake of argument, that you are correct, and you have no reason to fear scum knowing your character. For starters, just because you can reveal and flaunt something, doesn't mean that you should. And more importantly, you set a poor example and risk other players following in said example, and they may not have said assurances that you do. This, of course, wouldn't be entirely on you, but then it begs the question - why? This is the issue with bluster like this - nothing I've said here is something that Scum haven't thought about themselves, and generally-speaking unless you're looking for a quick exit from this game, you're going to have your work cut out for you in playing this angle correctly."
"Your "gotcha" is neither as funny nor witty as you may think it is. It's a game I signed up to play, you don't really get to police how I play it. You can disagree with what I say, and voice said disagreements, but telling me to shut up and stop posting because you think you speak for everyone is, at the very least, an unpleasant trait. You are correct - I cannot speak for your role. Well, it's possible that I've received it by way of investigation, but let's leave that aside for now. That means I can only work under knowledge I have access to, which is what I am doing. If it turns out that in this specific way, with this specific role, this angle happened to be optimal, then that's great. But you understand, I cannot just assume players are infallible, nor can I ignore behaviour that I feel warrants mention. That's how any level of deduction works."
