It's a shame because I feel he will probably not keep his journey alongside Luffy but do it with the Heart Pirates

Bur Robin took it herself.
Tama wearing the Strawhat is only to be seen as a symbol of Luffy's emotional investment in her struggles. With this, she represents all of Wano actually.

I legit wanted to see Usopp repeat what he did vs Perona but to Big Mom.

Given she rules by fear and even steals lifespan/souls through fear and thus killing people, it would be extremely ironic, poetic and karmic if the legendary coward and brave warrior wannabe and "hononary god" Usopp terrified Big Mom instead somehow, maybe even refusing to be scared of her, standing up to her and not being killed by life or treat/soul pocus or whatever.

Usopp an "ordinary human" with no OP DF or racial heritage advantage or genetic superpower or whatever standing up to a freaking titan and "God" like Big Mom.

It would have been so perfect and such a fantastic way to set him up as a future captain of a crew if he still to be one ( he should have been captain of the grand fleet especially), future CoC reveal, the hero and God of Elbaf and the giants, like with Tontatta and I think Skypeia too (they had a statue of him IIRC plus I'm sure he's related to Noland) and so on.

Hope my random rambling makes sense anyway lol.

Actually it would be fucking hilarious if her soul steal can't get Usopp because hes ALWAYS scared too, like how Peronas DF couldn't affect him because he's always negative!
Perfect throwback and so fitting for his character!

It was so great, a real unorthodox fight and plenty of humour. The return of Sogeking especially in the anime was such a fantastically iconic moment too.
