Well you're assuming there's logic behind the thought process of hating Zoro after ZKK didn't happen, if you ask me it's just a form of coping more than anything else. I've always enjoyed Zoro as a character personally, and my opinion hasn't changed as Wano is ending, in fact I think he had some really good moments so

Zoro had fantastic moments in Wano that showed how powerful he is, but he was never going to defeat the main arc villain. It's just not happening. Luffy is the Yonko of his crew and Kaido is the Yonko, so Zoro, the YC1, would obviously only defeat King. It's simple.

Okay i get you guys trashing some of the hardcore fans like this but why the hell are we s**t talking Zoro? Outside of his fans he was a great character Pre Time Skip. I don’t get the hate.

Post Time Skip Oda is making it pretty clear he only draws Zoro because his fanservice is great for merchandising sales. Doesn't give one shit about developing his character. Makes some awkward looking fights, say some nonsense one liners, watch some of the base go ZOOOORO and call it a day.

imo the M3 all have been poorly written in the new world:
-sanji since FMI: used regularly as a hype tool, and as an excuse for luffy to get directly involved with yonko, did nothing but bake a cake and cry a lot, used the RS despite promising not to and got an evolution that shat all over his mother's pride and sacrifice.
-luffy since WCI: runs like a bitch from big mom and katakuri, and contradicting himself on a regular basis, didn't even win a single 1v1 fight, got retconed into a pawn of fate, carried by a god DF.
-zoro in wano: didn't deliver on any of his promises, oda abandons his plotlines and gave luffy the ryuma parallel instead, got used as oden hype tool.

It would be unwise to quit now. Big Mom and Kaido are not confirmed down and out forever. It may look like it’s over, but that doesn’t mean it is. What you do is be patient and wait for Oda to confirm that they are out for good. All this chapter is is an intermission to the main event of wano. Remember we were still in zou when the yonko saga was announced. But more importantly I don’t see Oda abandoning all these plot threads revolving around zoro, kaido, big mom and Luffy.
