You realize that the Luffy that fought Ulti is two power-ups behind current Luffy right? For example, that Luffy was incapable of hurting Kaido in Gear Fourth. But current Luffy was going toe to toe with Kaido in base form, and landing damaging blows. Once he went Gear 5 he dominated him.

depending on how far his devil fruit goes he will very likely even be able to clone himself like Robin can, because plants can create genetic copies of themselves from cuttings. imagine law cutting him into pieces and then he just has to deal with 6 ryokugyus
