Though its become quite clear now that Admirals are not as physically gifted as the Emperors and rely more on their devil fruit, would you agree? Because Kaido/Shanks/BM dont need to destroy Marijoe to take care of 4 Revo commanders imo.

In the case of Big Mom or Kaidou, yes - they are more physically gifted. Shanks not so much.

It's more so about how destructive Issho's & Aramaki's fruits are - Issho's Gomu Gomu no Pistol equivalent is a Mountain Buster & Aramaki casually has Udon sized AOE. It was obvious as fuck they wouldn't be allowed to casually use their devil fruit on the place with the CD's and the Kings.

The point is being surprised by someone's Haki and/or abilities being strong does not mean that the said character cannot be dealt with easily.

Shanks compensates for that with better Haki usage versus Extremely potent and well trained top tier fruits.
