No I get it, actual racism I'd understand. BUT, they're making fun of a fictional race of furries here, AND you were already warned about this before too. First, they said that Wano wouldn't be facing any threats after Kaido was defeated. Turns out Green Bull was on his way
Then they said that Green Bull was just coming to talk and restore Wano. Turns out he was looking to capture Luffy
Then they said that Momo would just negotiate with Aramaki for him to go away since he's friends with Fujitora and must be a chill guy. Turns out he's a psycho who dickrides the government even harder than Sakazuki

And now with no other arguments left, they're saying Momo will beat a fucking admiral

With Ashura and Izo gone, Momo only has 7 scabbards. Based on this chapter and her role up until now, Shinobu can essentially claim the role of one of them...leaving only one missing retainer... :yasu::yasu:

Even the sake brewers must've figured out what's about to happen, which is why they're praying to God that Momo's about to beat a fucking admiral next chapter.

That's really the situation they found themselves in. Little do they know that prayers are useless since the outcome's already been spoiled.

That's the thing. People WILL be hurt by racism, wether you are directing it toward a fictional race or not. Why ? Because of something called representation.

By being racist against the representation of a oppressed yet fictional race, you are sending the message that it's ok to be racist under certain conditions.

It's not.

Never.

Ever.

That's why you don't see slavery or other form of oppression treated as good things in fiction. Why ? Because representation matter.

So I stand by what I say and mod can banned me for that if they want too:

Being racist against the minks or fishmen, meaning dehumanizing them and using that to bash those characters. because of their traits.. is NOT ok and will never be ok.

I'm ok with a bit of fun. Trust me. But the toxicity around Carrot and the mink has gone from fun.. to actual systemic toxicity, meaning, actual deshumanizing argument against a oppressed yet fictional race (=fictional racism). And I think that's a problem worth noting because this thread is a major source for that. Now I'm willing not to bit to much on the nose about that.. but let's all agree at least that it's not cool to dezhumanize characters even if they are not real.
