We were told that a couple of Wano guys went to east blue on a ship.
It is obvious that the shimotsuki founded the island Zoro is from otherwise it would not be called shimotsuki village.
So there is a high likelihood that a lot, maybe majority of the guys on shimotsuki village are from wano.
Then you have to couple that with the fact that Zoro was already strong enough to defeat adults even before he started training with the sword.
It also seems weird for Koushiro to just give a random kid from east blue who has nothing to do with wano or shimotsuki a sword from wano and most likely a sword made by his father, kouzaburo.
There is a big possibility that he is from wano. However, there is a los a possibility he is not from wano, so that should also not be ruled out.

He tamed it and made it cut what he wants with the amount he wants and not cut what he doesnt

They have headcanoons that dont allow them to accept Mihawk's portrayal. They have ulterior motives for downplaying Mihawk
Some are Sanji fans. So for them if they accept Mihawks portrayal and wss status, it would make him one of the strongest guys in the verse. Thus automatically making EoS Zoro one of the strongest in the verse which will be in conflict with their Zoro = Sanji.
Some are Shanks fans, and they cant accept Mohawk and EoS Zoro being stronger.
Some are Luffy fans and they want a big bag between Eos Zoro and Luffy
Some of supernova fans and they want their favorite supernova to be stronger than zoro eos. That cant happen if Mihawk is truly as strong as his title portrays.
