Before the shichibukai came into the story the yonko were always ment to be luffys main opponents/obstacles from being pirate king
Them all being tailor made for luffy essentially

The admirals sadly don't have that connection to luffy. With the admirals likley all going to end up defeated by allies or even subordinates. Even akainu weirdly enough being lucky if he gets to fight luffy instead of sabo.
The admirals are also at higher risk of losing a 2 or even 3 vs 1. If oda ends up letting bb defeat multiple of them them at the same time.................
