Well Oda has always had his own standards for leadership qualities.

Otherwise how would Luffy, Ace, Sabo, Buggy, Kazan, Borsalino and Hancock have become leaders ?

In no realistic story would any of them have ever found himself/herself in a command position due to their traits and flaws that make them unsuited for leadership.

Why'd Mihawk's name make himself Yonko when he is neither nor wants to lead anyone lol.

The title of Yonko is given to whoever is leading the entire thing, even they're not the top tier counterpart of the Yonko group.

So buggy is a yonko because of himself, his territories and his influence , not ONLY mihawk joined him, crocodile as well and probably other warlord , so its just headcannon to say if u have mihawk in ur crew u are automatically yonko.
