It's still possible he's a CoC specialist. It all depends on what he uses to cancel out CoO. But like I said before, the minks did something similar to Luffy when they surrounded him, and he couldn't sense a single one of them, and they don't even have CoC, let alone specialize in it. So I don't think Shanks uses CoC to cancel out FS, but it has to be some form of haki.

You got it wrong it was his coc that so good that it can nullified coo ability/FS. this is another lvel of coc ability. He prolly even can nullified df when his coc shockwave force greenbull to back to his base from.

The set-up for Mihawk hype is there but our actual problem is also Oda himself. His writing style especially post time skip doesn't help Mihawk's case.

Mihawk needs some feats that will free him from the Marineford writing shackles if you know what I mean.

Marienford was trash even in itself. No one feared Mihawk, in reality Vista should sweat even from the thought of clashing his swords with Mihawk.

Shanks stopped the war and no one wanted the smoke with him, no one was bothered about Mihawk's existence if we have to stay true to the source material, even if he is walking Top Top tier, his portrayal is so trash.
