With Kidd seeking revenge, Zoro getting Enma and Luffy asking Kidd for tag team and having alliance with law who seem to cooking something with Hawkins, there is no doubt in my mind that Luffy won't solo Kaido.

In my opinion, it will start with Luffy one vs one against Kaido, followed by tag team action and with Luffy landing final blow in the end to finish things.

Doffy scenario is difficult to replicate considering the stakeholders in wano.

It's too early for Luffy to reach the top tier and win un-aided against other top tiers. We still have at least 3 major story arcs to go following Wano - Elbaf, Raftel, Final War and I am certain there will be other smaller arcs inbetween too!

That being said, it looks like the Worst Gen will fight as a group and maybe when Kaidou's fatigued or weakened (somehow) Luffy will be the one to finish the job.

Kaido one-shotted Luffy with Thunder Bagua and that required his mace. At the very least, Katakuri could've beaten Luffy in two hits with Mochi Thrust, which requires he uses Mogura. With their weapons, Emperors and First Mates could beat Luffy in less than three hits.

Will Future Sight play a vital role? Will Luffy build durability with at least unnamed or weaker mace attacks?

I think the final showdown with Kaido will be between him and Luffy. I don't rule out outside help or Kaido getting nerfed. Kaido will definitely be a wrecking machine before that happen: fucking up Kid, fucking up Law, fucking up Marco, and fucking up even Kizaru.
