With the information we know about Zoro's childhood connection with the Wano Samurai's in his village, why was he not Stronger in the East Blue?
Zoro apparently learned about "Ryuo" from his master as a child, but it took him until his fight with Mr.1 to unlock it. Why not sooner?
Apparently he knew Shimotsuki Kozaburo a powerful Samurai and swordsmith, but never learned any of Wano techniques?
Having power mentors greatly raises someone's strength, look at Coby after just a few months with Garp, or the growth Luffy got while training with Rayleigh.
