Like I wont argue that EL Robin > EL Sanji or DR Usopp > DR Sanji because they had higher bounties, same applies to Jinbe.

To everyone insisting "Inflation from muh cross guild" how much exactly is the bounty inflated by? Even if one assumed that the inflation was 1 Billion(an absolutely insane assumption) this would still mean that Mihawk and his boat were a greater threat to the WG then Yonko Blackbeard with all his crew and territory. There's no way of spinning this where Mihawk doesn't come out as the goat.

Cross Guild is officially a Yonko crew. Of course there is inflation. Oda randomly decides these numbers. It’s been pretty obvious that bounty does not simply equate to strength alone. There are far too many examples of this.

Characters most screwed over by these bounties:
1. Franky - Franky took down an ex New World Captain turned Tobi Roppo and a rival of Who’s Who. Gets 394 million while Robin and Jinbe are over 900 and 1 billion

2. Crocodile - Because the marine who chooses bounties powerscales based on posters (likely created by Buggy himself) Crocodiles bounty gets given to Buggy

3. Sanji - Gets bounty barely above 1 billion berries despite beating 1.32 billion berry Commander and is below Jinbes likely because of a meme

4. Zoro - gets bounty barely above 1 billion berries despite beating 1.39 billion berry commander

Where is it implied Mihawk’s bounty is bc of the past in the spoilers? Besides even if that were the case, shanks isn’t ruthlessly attacking evetyone but imagine if he were like Kaido and BM. Bounties would be even more distant

They mention his title from past specifically, so I'm assuming it has something to do with that.

Anyway, targeting Marines does bring its inflation but it's still not as insane as being the sole leader of an absurdly powerful crew, as well as an Emperor's armies, territories and resources amassed over decades.

Mihawk is definitely up there with Yonkos, solidly so after this. Trying to pretend the insane inflation potential of Yonkos doesn't more than make up for 500m is about as delusional as trying to pretend Sanji's actions in Wano don't put him far above Jinbei compared to what bounty entails
