The Navy later tried to capture him and he fucked them over by escaping and restarting a marine hunt with bounties on them

He's now using Buggy as a puppet Emperor 'cause he can't even be bothered and just wants to collect the paychecks from behind scenes

He turned an organization of clowns + Crocodile into a Yonko level threat just by his presence and got a Yonko level bounty despite being formally considered a subordinate

- black blade doesn’t make you stronger than other sword user : Roger
- titles are weird and needs context : WB/Roger being equals. WB was fucking not stronger than Roger, the PK. Never. The story is about PK. It’s a shonen. Will is the most important thing, Roger was obviously the top of the food chain

Luffy thé MC dream is to be the PK, the most difficult things to do.

There is not a single chance that Mihawk is stronger than Roger.

It doesn't mean anything. 25 years ago Oda thought it was a good idea to introduce Mihawk as the WSS, ignoring the fact that he couldn't really claim that title since he hadn't fought Shanks in 12 years, when he wasn't even an emperor. Now Oda has to deal with his own nonsense and he came up with something else to cover it: he is the most skilled swordsman

How he proved it to the world is a mystery but I doubt anyone in the world will ever question that, who cares about being labelled as skilled

Once again this is a nonsensical argument because I can use your stupid phrase "Mihawk is WSS so therefore he is stronger than any swordsman so he can't lose" and you either have to agree that Zoro will never beat Mihawk or that the title is worthless.

This chapter literally confirmed that the only thing Mihawk is stronger than Shanks is "swordsmanship". Oda literally had to add the "swordsmanship" line instead of saying "Mihawk is stronger than Shanks"

Swordsmanship is haki on sword

Zoro was taught by koshiro his swordsman way which was the concept of ryou = haki

Mihawk taught zoro the way of the sword which was coating his sword = once again haki

Zoro has the exact same moves pre skip as post
Only difference he is stronger physically and haki. Nothing skill about it

It wasnt just a bounty chapter it was the crew finally being recongnized as a yonko crew, the 9 commanders. Makes no sense to have that, then cut to Buggy, and only in a whole other chapter have Carrot appear. I've seen people using the dukes as argument but Robin is the one that should be used as comparassion, and she appeared right after they left Alabasta

Idk what Oda is doing with Mihawk and Shanks. If we take Mihawk's title at face value, Mihawk>Shanks.
however

Shanks has the best CoC feats in one piece bar none. Mihawk just doesn't. Mihawk is WSSM, he has better skill with a sword than shanks, yet Oda can't just come out and say Mihawk defeated shanks. He can't give Mihawk a higher bounty than shanks. He can't even have Mihawk split the sky with Whitebeard, despite them both being in marineford.
Mihawk is said to be Shanks's "rival", but Shanks has a much greater rivalry with blackbeard. In fact by his own admission, Teach is more dangerous.
Maybe it's like this. Shanks< Mihawk, however Shanks's CoC mastery> Mihawk's, with Mihawk solely being stronger due to having a black blade and 2 arms.

in any case, I don't think you can say shanks fans don't have a point, when Oda himself wanks shanks more than almost any other character.
