The Elders may be strong but your arguments aren't too good.
Sabo has a huge scar from when he was a helpless kid. We've seen fodders with scars. A scar isn't synonym for being strong, it just means your body was hurt, be it powerful or not.
Because they're in God's land, they are one of the most powerful political figures and they know Shanks isn't a threat since he isn't there for a fight.
This may be true, but then again we have a huge problem: the pinnacle of swordsmanship seems to be the black blade and Mihawk is the one to have achieved it, not the bald elder.
It doesn't, it only implies that it isn't a certain truth even for the people who should know everything about the world as they're the highest authorities of the Government just below Im.
Then what are these scars doing on these fragile old men?
And how come they are so nonchalant in the presence of an enemy who's supposedly a top 5 character he's not btw
Ghandi gorosei specifically has been hyped up for wielding a katana, which after Wano you can assume to be the Shodai Kitetsu, one of the 12 supreme blades and the sword that wields the strongest curse.
Thing is, "even to us" implies they've been alive for a long time.
