Oda just confirmed in an Interview with detective conan Mangaka Gosho aoyamo that he will draw a void century flashback that alone could take over half a year if not longer. Add all the other unrevealed secrets yet + future new characters that oda will introduce. Easily 5 years more to go.

Yeah, I think 5 years is a good bet. The series is nearing it's end but 3 years seems to short, even Oda recognises he's not the best with these estimations.

Didn't oda said one post to end in 5 years that's was 3 or 4 years ago lol I just don't see how oda end it so quick with do many things to deal with and bring to the light , ancient weapons, past enemies Blackbeard pirates vs straw hats that encounter can't end with just 25 to 30 chapters only and so on, oda should just say one will end when it end

Now that only Blackbeard and Imu are left as the final boss Oda can easily end in 3 years, 4 years for Kaidou and Big Mom boses, 3-4 years for Blackbeard and Shanks/Imu.

yeah only one road poneglyph is missing and Oda said One Piece ends after the "One Piece" is found. So it can defenitly end in 3-4 years.

Coming back to this thread is a good laugh because even now, we seem to just be in another arc and the status quo continues. Sure, he's addressing big characters, but the arc wasn't Elbaf and we still have no idea when or how we'll get that last RP.

I’m telling you we’re in for a huge speed up in plot progression:

We have law getting taken out by Blackbeard
Next well have Kidd getting taken out by Shanks
Finally we’ll get Shanks taken out by Blackbeard

Blackbeard will then have 3 poneglyphs and location of the fourth.

Luffy and Blackbeard will simultaneously fight on Elbaf for the final Poneglyph.

While the pirates duke it out:
The world government and Akainu will fight and defeat the Revolutionary army (reason will connect to Vegapunk)

Cross Guild will claim the pluton and defeat the weakened world government after that

Luffy will discover the void century on raftel and realize his secret dream is possible after the fall of Mariejoa

Straw hats vs Cross Guild final war will occur

Elbaf is endgame, that's where one of the straw hats will achieve their dream.

We are progressing fast to endgame from the looks of it. BBP vs SH will soon happen imo give or take 25 chapters at most
