Please let´s not insult complete Japan here, aren´t you also watching animes and reading mangas? You probably didn´t plan or mean this but it sounds like it. So there must be part of their culture that you like, otherwise you wouldn´t be here, right?
My problem is that you are talking about lolis and implying pedophile stuff, there might be some animes that are taking things too far in that regard and where I could actually agree with you that there is disturbing and disgusting stuff but if you are looking at the majority this is not really the case on most mangas and animes. I mean, little kids don´t have ridiculously big breasts as you often see them in animes, so most females are more resembling adult women rather than underage loli girls. Or take One Piece for example, Nami and Nico Robin are adults, while I think it´s not needed to overdo it with their breast size or outfits sometimes, you can surely not call them children anymore. As a bit of tiny defense on Oda I might add that some of the most cringy Ecchi stuff in the anime is actually added and drawn out by Toei.

I think it's fine when it's a theme like how xmen is pretty well known as a allegory to racism, The story is not just muh racism but that's just a theme
or how devilman,spawn,devil may cry and other such fictions are inspired by abrahamic religions but they by no means preach them or act as propaganda to them which is the difference between alot of modern writing and fiction from the past
The poltitical themes if were there did not take up all the story and you still could still enjoy them without being fully supportive of the messaging same cant be said for modern television and comics where all there is would be politics

Well, back in the german board where I was active before I came to Worstgen there was a german girl that emigrated to Japan, lived there for several years, had a whole blog about all her experiences there, told us stories about her sitting for hours in Maid cafes and all, she absolutely loved the Japanese culture. Her experiences are completely different from your views.
There are negative points like the high suicide rate because of the work circumstances and all but you can find bad things at lot of countries too. Japan is not the world´s center point of sexism or racism. Generalization is also not cool, I wouldn´t like it if someone said that all germans have to be nazis just because of our past for example.
I never said that Japan should be put above other cultures or countries but you made it sound like as if Japan had to be the worst country out of all. Which is simply not the case. Look at Iran how those mullahs treat their women, to name only one of the places where women still have almost no rights. I don´t want to downtalk other countries, I really don´t want to but in India as a young girl you really shouldn´t ride a public train because the risk of being raped is way too high there. On the other hand India has some good sides too, so it´s not always all light and dark, there´s just really much grey everywhere. Even in Germany there are places where it has become risky to walk outside alone at nighttime if you don´t want to become a victim of a crime, including rape shit.
