I can't deny, this looks crazy on paper and in reality too.

Messi wasn't lucky with the squad tho. The best shot he had was in 2014 but they ultimately failed against prime Germany.

The 2018 squad was okay but not enough. 2022's Argentina squad is like a make-a-wish team.

Messi is holding this all together. Unfortunately, he is past his prime and he can only do as much. Still a fucking banger they made it to the final.
