They are too rigid with their more possession= game control thing. France let Morocco have the possession because they ruined Portugal by defending masterfully. In this way, Morocco couldn't do what they've been doing until now. Kudos to them for reaching Semis but this France team played real good. No Kante\Pogba\Benzema yet in the finals.

After debacle of 2021 Deschamps focused on unity of players which wasn't there in Euros.
I am still worried about lack of pogba in this team however this team is more or less seems unfazed without key players in key areas.

They were on a huge winning streak until the Saudi loss.
That '18 squad was filled with jobbers and even washed up bums like Mascherano played in big 2018.
This squad has a lot of youth, hunger and would play their heart out... just watch the Croatia match. RdP, McAllister, Enzo Fernandes, Alvarez were great.
