I know it's a long long shot but I guess it can make sense .... at least I hope


Oda is a master of foreshadow and twist , so let's see if he was able to fool us or not

I want to talk about the man behind Yonko sage
the man who made Whitebeard , Kaido and Big mom big shots
and maybe was involve with Shanks and Teach
the man who made the Yonko without knowing​


step one , let's clear some facts about Kaido war :



1- Kaido want a war ... some thing before he wanted to do before the Luffy come back
2- Kaido is sure his war is able to end the world
3- Kaido BEEN on God VALLEY ... you know , the war between Rock , Shiki , Kaido , Big mom , Prime Beard Vs Roger , Garp , maybe Dark King , maybe Sengoku and many other legends

and unlike Marine Ford is safe to assume all of those people went all out in that war
so ... Kaido BEEN ON THAT WAR .... and he was thinking his crew alone can start the biggest war this world has ever seen?

Kaido is not stupid, he know as a fact his crew is not even strongest among Yonko , that's why his dream was about create one
but even calming he can top god valley is beyond stupid ... keep in mind he didn't even had big mom back then ....




Step 2 , Let's see what Oda had to say about Wano






many people assumed this is about Imu ... and while in make sense that it be ....

this claim being about Imu have 2 major problem


1- Imu is not really as we know of , Legends are well known people with great achievements while as far as we can guess Imu is not active for 100s of years
2- Imu is not connected to Whitebeard as we know of

so the GREATEST ENEMY STRAW HATS WOULD FACE YET can be Imu and

1- Imu could be a legend in good old days
2- Imu could be connected to Whitebeard (the same Whitebeard who didn't even knew what is D until he was 50 years old)

we can at least agree this claim can be about Rock.D.Xebec

1- he is a lurking legend in one piece for sure
2- he was more than connected to Whitebeard



but wait there is more

Step 3 : Shanks meeting Gorosei





as much as people enjoy joking about this massive hype moment for plot ... we should be able to agree on some points

1- Shanks was there to warn the world about some thing great
2- Shanks was willing to go there in worst time possible ... as Gorosei said themselves
3- Shanks was going there in the same chapter Rock was introduce to the story

as much as people like to say here was there for Luffy and Teach ... it make no sense what so ever for Oda to do that

Luffy and Teach were on Imu personal target list, he would never agree to leave them alone ... nor he need some one to tell him they are danger ... the entire world know they are big and massive danger

would Oda show us Shanks going there just for a pointless cause ...

the last time Shanks bothered himself to go to meet another world power ... it was because he could foresee the Marine Ford war before everyone else

he knew who Ace really is ...
he knew Teach personality ...
and he predicted the war ...


so I'm willing to be the danger Shanks was willing to bother himself that much MUST BE GREATER WAR THAN MARINE FORD ...



Step Four : Big Mom joining Kaido

some people didn't care about details ... but there are some funny things going on in Wano

Big Mom joining Kaido seemed far too random ...

sure he is Kaido , sure he is big mom ... they have a history and both have blood lost but

- Kaido was willing to go in war with Big Mom
- Kaido wanted Big Mom dead
- Big Mom wanted Straw Hats and Straw Hats alone
- they fight

and then ....

- they both want to take over the world with joy while they seem sure about winning?


wait what

- why Big Mom joined force with Kaido for taking over the world?
- we are talking about same big mom who was carefully leading her lands for 20 years and never started a war?

- why did they stop fighting?
- why did Big Mom wanted to join Kaido side and share his goal all the sudden ...


....

as I said ... there can be answers to everything that I asked ... but it only take one answer to clear every single one of this questions


Rocks is on Wano and he is leading Kaido

1- that's why Kaido is sure he can create biggest war of the world and he can end it cause he have his old master planing everything
2- that's the man Oda was hinting to when he was talking about a lurking legend would be greatest enemy so far to Luffy
3- that's the man who can give us a surprising ending to wano by not letting Kaido and Big Mom lost but change the war
4- that's the man Shanks went to talk about win Gorosei
5- that's the man who stopped Kaido and Big Mom and make them ally, Big Mom knowing Rock is on their side was withdraw the fight , stopped caring to SHP and joined Kaido as an ally


I know it seem like a very very very twisted result for one piece Wano arc ....
but he is the only man who can up the game to titanic level and bring a true climax to Yonko Saga ...

and by true climax I'm talking about a fight among all four Yonko and Marine to stop The New Rock ...

I can easily see Teach and Shanks joining the war soon


in this way at the end of Wano ... the Wano land would be free from Kaido ... but both Kaido and Big Mom can be saved for the end game ....


can this be a reality?

and maybe this can ... improve the possibility ...




again ...

it can means Kaido as well ... as Kaido rule and Orochi is just a tool ...

but knowing "everybody know Kaido is ruler of Wano" this might be a hint

Oda is not going to give us a whole story line about Rock ... if inheriting the will ... was the only pay off

we already knew Teach is a person who would final enemy of saga and an evil D

there was no need for Rock ..


there HAS TO BE a GREAT PAY OF somewhere ... something we can see but we can't expect ...

I'm even willing to say a part of Rock lives in Teach ...

some things is going on ... we just need to find out ...

Makes sense, even if I don't think Rocks is ruling Wano behind the shadows but there are some chances he will be involved in this war. Also this is called "vs 4 yonko saga" so we already have BM and Kaido and probably we will get Shanks and BB one way or another in Wano to make war (so this will make Marineford war look cute and satisfy the title "vs 4 yonko saga"), and the other thing about the greatest SH enemy and related to WB could as well be an hint to Rocks, true.

Anyway imo he will be/come with BB, he is not already there with BM and Kaido. He could be the reason why BB can have 3 fruits, never sleeps, strange body, 3 in 1 etc.

Only problem that I see is, Rox was having trouble managing Kaido, BM, WB, etc in his crew in their early days as stated by WB himself. So I can only imagine how can he keep Kaido on a leash now that he have become me a Yonko. :zorothink:

I guess Oda can solve this very easily

- Kaido and Big mom were loyal to him unlike many others
- Kaido want to die and a war , so Rock is showing his way
- Rock want to give him some thing

The problem is understanding GREAT PAY OF as some event in current time that includes Rocks himself alive.

Rocks is fundamental to properly understand many of the dynamics between important characters. The Rocks Pirates cemented the relationship between Big Mom and Kaido that is a core plot in Wano; their strength made Garp and Roger fight together and that's a very significant detail in their backstory; odds are Xebec's persona inspired Teach to aim for what he's now; and Rocks is a D. after all, an evil one as it seems so far, so he could be related to an incoming flashback on this family.

I'm personally not a friend of those theories like "part of Rocks lives in Teach" or "Rocks is alive and the master puppeteer"; I find them to be kind of cheesy and artificial because they're imposed to well-established characters and plots that don't need such figure to work. I don't think Rocks has a place in current plot. He will certainly be significant when it comes to defining the motivations of the current top players, but he belongs to the past like Roger and Whitebeard did.

Oda added the Rock story arc for some pay off I assume

now he can be like : pay off was Kaido and Big mom ...

but there is just so much more he can do with it ... for a writer like Oda this can be a plan


and I'm kinda sure pay off would come soon or later .... but Rock himself being alive is a long shot

Sengoku already specifically mentioned that the current Rocks alliance is likely stronger than it was in the past:




I think we need to stop overhyping Xebec. YES, he himself was probably the greatest threat the world ever saw back in the day with his crew, but Big Mom and Kaido are far stronger than they were 40 years before, Sengoku says this. Anyway, Rocks will continue to be a running theme after this arc. Why? Because its almost clear that Blackbeard is essentially Rocks "incarnate". Whether or not he is the son of Rocks is anyone's guess, but the man is coming close to raining chaos on the world and its clear that whatever he is doing right now against the marines is going to mimic that.

So for now I'd say Rocks is a flashback only character that we will see once Kaido's flashback kicks off in the future. We got the Oden/Roger side, now we'll get the Kaido/BM/Rocks side of it.

I'd say its more likely that Shiki or someone else from Rocks joins this arc, but possibly not as a villain. There is still this person that strangely looks dressed like Shiki with a Wano hat:

I do think Xebec is alive
But I do not believe Oda is setting him up for this arc

I think Oda will include him in the NEXT plot
The plot that will combine:
1- Red Hair Pirates and Shanks
2- Blackbeard Pirates
3- Strawhat Pirates

I think oda will have:

SH + Red Hair Pirates vs BB + New-Rocks Pirates (New members under Xebex)

Luffy will have his idol on his side Shanks

Blackbeard will have his idol Xebec on his side

Two sides of the same coin

But also, the plot twist is that Xebec is Shanks father based on the old spoiler that was released LONG time ago! That's Shanks real name is Locks D. Shanks

So, Luffy's idol will face lots of dilimma in this arc to have stronger resolve.. which is mainly the theme of the people Luffy tries to help in every arc

Lasly, it will be a good way to explore Shanks origin when his dad is right in front of him!

BB beats Shanks

Final round, Luffy vs Blackbeard

Funny enough, while I don't think he's alive, Blackbeard technically has an 11th captain not yet revealed. Oda is clearly hiding this person for some reason:D

not sure about details of it ... but it can be the case Shanks and all of his allies and Luffy supernovas Vs BB and New Rocks

but Oda need a good amount of time for story telling

this would be the climax of manga ... not one piece ... any manga
