Controversial Sweden's ''Democracy''

When you’re talking about God, do you mean a man with a beard who sits on the clouds or a creator who’s behind our human understanding? The latter one is most likely. Many scientist who see the perfection of the universe believe in a creator
Westerners' perception of the abrahamic God is damaged by all those Renaissance paintings that DO show him as a bearded man on a cloud

That's another reason why I'm not religious. Apart from the most likely scenario of god not being real, I don't want to base my ideology on a religion (be it christianity or islam) which was responsible for multiple genocides and destroying multiple cultures and ethnic groups.
Join my religion instead and we'll worship the one and true god
cringe i know but so is this thread

Either one. They might believe in a higher power, but they will be the first ones to tell you there is absolutely no evidence behind said believe.
It depends on their views
Scientist are also human and subjective
People who have faith will see many evidences and people with no faith won’t see them
There are also atheistic scientist who became Christian’s
This is why we say that it’s not a matter of intelligence, it’s a matter of the heart
Creation/Universe is also a book of God, signs are everywhere and believe me, the more I looked into nature etc. there more I understood God. But that’s just my experience

They are and they have a context that revolves around a war with byzantines

If you're gonna look over quran chapter 2 verse 190, to literally take the quoted verse that bigot displayed as end all be all then that's your choice
Forget 2:190 in the same chapter that @vikas drafted from David wood's dump.
Quran 2-6 is where Allah tells prophet (SAW) that if the polytheists seek asylum then give IT to them

And if anyone from the polytheists asks for your protection ˹O Prophet˺, grant it to them so they may hear the Word of Allah, then escort them to a place of safety, for they are a people who have no knowledge. ( Quran 9-6)

The willingness to misinterpret and quote without reading and understand shows the level of intellect of those easily believed that and called me an extermist for having certain views.

I admonish folks who came across that to do what he has not.. And read.

Yes, when I mean evidence I mean empirical evidence.

''seek asylum'' and ''ask for your protection'' sounds like ''join us or die'' tbh

I mean that the idea that the Abrahamic God is a bearded old Man on a cloud is heavily ingrained in Europeans' mind because of paintings like these

Thats also true. Many Muslims were slaughtered during the Crusades which allowed Christianity to spread and become the dominant religion in Europe. Some don't like talking about that.
Ofc the crusades were a thing but Christianity's spread killed not only Muslims

Pretty much Balkan experience with Turks.

When Ottomans invaded Balkans all male Christian children were abducted, brainwashed to become Janissary soldiers and then sent back into Balkans to kill and murder their own people.

And this went on for around 500 years more or less. My country (Croatia) has been in a war with (Ottomans) for like 300-450 years. Untold hundreds of thousands died and were abducted.

Those that stayed, well if you didn't wanna convert you were imposed heathen taxes that were considerably higher than those of that converted

You rather favour liberalism no?

which was responsible for multiple genocides and destroying multiple cultures and ethnic groups.
Islam never endorses it..
Abuse of ideals isn't an evidence against those ideal

Ofc that would go over your head with this level of pitiful reasoning mammas boi

And btw

- Christians still exist in millions in Egypt where Muslims Had their empires

- Jews were about to get eradicated by radical Christians if not for Muslim empires for around a thousand

- Muslims ruled India for solid centuries yet the majority of the population remains Hindu

LOL don't bring your ahistorical bullshit and nonsensical and vapid logic infront of me

Humans be like: "Everything is like us. We’re superior in everything."
