• The WG stole all his focus
  • Was used as hypetool for Law's fights
  • Didn't get an exec in DR, Law took out Trebol
  • Capone was the one with a plan in WCi, Sanji was busy being a damsel in distress
  • Excluded from the rooftop
• His M3 position is gone, now he is more often paired with Jinbei
  • Had to share Wadatsumi
    • Both used their strongest moves
    • Their shared opponent wasn't even awakened by the drugs like hody and hyozou
  • Both escorted luffy to the rooftop
  • Jinbei surpassed his bounty
  • Grouped with Jimbo in egghead, while Luffy and Zoro are the other duo
• Was excluded from the CoC route

I can't be bothered to put more effort into this shit, just mindboggling to me how some of you retards defend this shitstain of post TS char as if you spend years of work behind it, you didn't, Oda isn't entitled to morons like you defending him

True. Last impactful character moment of Luffy in udon when he took virus to make them realize shit. And last of Sanji was in Dressrosa when he asked for orders to attack bigmom, Zoro's was when he awakened CoC. Robin and Franky got some moments here and there but nothing impactful. Ussops was in Dressrosa and Brooks was in WCI. Nami was in WCI.

Jimbei is the only one with no issues yet.

Oda giving all impactful character moments to side characters in post skip. He forgot to make story SH centered. They became just bodyguards for arc characters ever since wano started.

He once pointed a Gun against Robin, an enemy. Not saying he would have pulled the trigger but at least he made a threat instead of resorting to be a problem to the rest of the crew. Even Nami or Robin, can't remember, said it's admirable he doesn't hit women but at the very least run away and don't cause trouble.

His role should be smart yet reasonably strong but he should not compete against Zoro or Luffy in strength, he should use his superior stealth and skill. Doing that he has a clear role in the crew and a spot as a wing if you want providing Luffy with something the crew lacks, by competing with Zoro he provides more and actually less of the same.

In Arlong Park he understood his role was to free Luffy.
In Little Garden he got the logpose for Alabasta.
In Water 7 he got on the sea train.
In Enies Lobby he opened the Gates.

Actually, it could work even with Nika, if there was normal explanation to it. Basically what we got was this: Luffy died from Kaido, but instead of death he awakened new power beyond anything else that he learned. How this suppose to be? Threw training Luffy awakened his fruit abd goes against Kaido already awakened.

Did Oda planned to give Luffy awakening? My honest though is YES, awakening suits Luffy like nothing else. Did Oda planned to give Luffy Nika fruit? Maybe he does, case according to Hawkins Luffy's chances to survive never went below 0% and that comes even with pre-ts.

But the way how Oda delicered awakening was awful, case there where ways that could hace much more sence then Fairy Tail power up lvl.
