One would think so but unless it is a haki barrier on the level of vs Hakai or similar, it wont really help.
As we saw, even a huge magma dragon and a hardened sword didnt help King from being chopped into pieces.
Well, when facing Zoro's firepower, at least. It could work against those who hit significantly weaker.

King only entered his flame off mode because he realized Zoro was capable of damaging him even when he had his flame on which was the point of their dialogue exchange when Zoro asked him why he’s blocking even with his flame on.

Against an opponent who can’t damage him in flame on mode, all he has to do is stay in flame on mode and he wins

I need to see that….. cause even in his last attack King had his flame off. We never actually seen someone damage a Lunarian with their flame on.

Shanks crew isn't a villainous crew like BBP.

They don't have any personal feud with SHs

Infact, RHP vs SHP makes little sense unless oda decides to pull evil shanks and even then he has to set up not just evil shanks but evil RHP which hardly makes sense.

The multiplication is really headcanon though. Pacifista are solely durable because of their tougher—than—steel frames. Add that padding to a Lunarian and you have a defense insignificant compared to their own. It wouldn’t successfully absorb a regular base kick from Sanji.

It isn’t the same durability because the steel absorbs the impact so it doesn’t effect the Diamond.

And again, if durability doesn’t stack what’s the point of the exoskeleton when the Germa already have raid suits?

The reason they gave him the fruit is because he becames a sword and the swords he creates are enchanted by lunarian durability

The Lunarian DNA just builds upon thier base durability.

Example:

Base durability is Flesh - Lunarian Durability is steel.

Base Durability is Steel - Lunarian Durability is Diamond.

Obviously, it's not exactly like that, but you get the drift. Whatever the base durability is, the Lunarian DNA amplifies it by ten fold.
