Made me even want to knee in front of him, so much elegance. This tribute thing also makes me think he could be a celestial dragon, put he prefers not to follow their system.
The way he is called boss and how they approach them seems he is a living legend for Elbaf, why?
What is more weird, is that Big Mom tried to make an alliance with them, even though they seem to support Shanks. Kinda weird.

Luffy fought in his strongest form against Lucci for, what, a few minutes, before being exhausted?
Luffy in a 1v1 still can only use his most powerful forms a small portion of time before becoming exhausted, and you want to tell me he's on Shank's level.
Shank's casually blocked Akainu's fist that easily pierced through Ace and Jinbei, a Yonkou Commander and Warlord, and blew through Whitebeard twice.
Luffy is nowhere near Shanks' level, yet.

So Shanks did not stop Kaido pre TS, with Kaido at the roof rop grouping Shanks with Roger, Whitebeard and Xebec. So Shanks didn't walk on Whitebeard's ship. So he didn't walk into the war.
Also moot point when Kaido has never wanked Shanks but licks Oden's balls and was pulled up on by the whole of red hair pirates when he was alone.
Oh, are we really going to see Shanks fight? All he did until now was intimidate the enemy even before the fight started, and seemingly with bigger guns than Kidd (Marineford war). Most likely Oda is just teasing or Shanks will finish it with just some slashes, which would be consistent with the difference of levels considering also film Red and who he intimidated during Marineford war still it would disappoint a bit if he finishes it in one move or slightly more. Or it will just be offpaneled.. and most likely we will some the fight (or part of it, or just the result) only months from now.
So? Kidd invaded their territory, allied himself with Law and Kidd, fought an out of prime Big Mom with Law's help and didn't even defeat her power wise. While Shanks fought off Kaido. Him being backed up by his crew is headcanon. He told his crew to leave vs WB too, Yonko usually fight each other without interference of their crew. And sure does he lick Oden's balls as Oden gave him a scar, still Kaido put Shanks up there with Roger, WB and Xebec, which also speaks against the idea of Shanks being backed up by his crew when clashing with Kaido.

Pretty fun chapter, it was obvious that Kaku and Lucci will be free and ready to team up against seraphims, and I kinda like that they're still pretty hostile (and I loved Zoro's reactions to Luffy's nonchalant "eh whatever, we already beat them, we can do it once again, they're not a threat")
Vegapunk not knowing about those CP units brings an interesting angle, I hope that seraphims were actually under WG orders all along and just pretended to obey in accordance with the command chain (but I'm probably wrong).
I don't like Kidd, but dude's got my respect for his gigachad attitude!!! Shanks indeed doesn't look as cool as Kidd there. Still hyped for Shanks vs Kidd action and and praying to Oda NOT TO OFF-PANEL THE WHOLE FIGHT
