7 vegapunks and 6 Strawhats (Usopp, Nami, Chopper, Brook, Franky, Robin) needing saving from 4 Seraphim + 2 CP0 agents. Zoro can't clone himself and he knows only himself, Luffy, Sanji and Jinbei are safe.
Mid trio can hold out for a while depending on the opponent but murderous Lucci kills them before Zoro, Luffy or even Jinbei and Sanji can intervene. Sentoumaru is probably stronger than Robin, Franky and Brook and look what happened to him.
I must say Luffy pulled off genius reverse psychology on Lucci by making himself the target. This was Aokiji all over again, Lucci would look bad if he tried to take out anybody now except Luffy himself.

Theres no evidence lucci can beat zoro if zoro goes all out. Just because zoro failed to cut kaku thats not proof he would fail to cut lucci.
We know that zoros swords aren't as strong as stussy's teeth but that just means that stussy >=zoro. I think that KOH zoro has equal AP to stussys teeth. Therefore KOH zoro should push awakened lucci to high diff.

It's the opposite. Genius move by Luffy. He put a target on his own back and Lucci is now forced to first go through Luffy otherwise it would go against his pride. Same scenario as Luffy vs Aokiji or Zoro vs Kuma, they already knew they would lose but the enemies Pride meant they couldn't hurt the rest of the crew after being challenged to a duel.

+ zoro in the panel Is clearly scared for his own life. Lucci promised to kill other strawhats After Luffy, Zoro was scared for his Life "do not let him join".
Zoro Is strong, I give him that, but Lucci Is just that guy.

I think he's concerned for the crews fodder. Oda keeps pushing that protecting others really nerfs a fighter meaning it's going to be difficult for him and Luffy to protect all the crew fodders regardless if they are far above Lucci/Kaku.
From a logical stand point makes sense too however it's dumb because Zoro and Luffy should have instead just executed the two of them and left their corpses there.
