Tbf granda being an east blue swordsman and dad dying to east blue fodder is a bit of a panacea to me.

Sure, he’s descended from Ryuma, but that’s hundreds of years ago. A lot of people have interesting descendents if you go that far back.

His immediate family aren’t all that special, which is good enough to me.
