- Zoro wasting energy fighting and chasing around s-hawk instead of using 1 conquerors attack. Like people try to convince themselves is their weakness

The notion that he was soo hopeless that he didn't bother using his ultimate defence still bemuses me.. Its utterly nonsensical to assume oda would paint ULTIMATE DEFENCE in that light by having him block and dodge attacks even before Acic

Do you find this even remotely similar reaction
King did the exact same thing any reasonable person would do if they believe their defensive power/mode no longer protects them against their opponent's offensive power and they have a mode that makes them faster and harder to hit.
You should look at all the panels that go along with that scene, not just one panel after the attack.
Zoro's Lion Song vs King.
Their backs are facing each other.
We see King's face immediately following the attack. Then he see Zoro who's back is still towards King. By the time Zoro turns back to look at King, he had turned around to face Zoro and was preparing to attack.

The next time we see them after the attack the two teams had are back together and facing the seraphims, which indicate more time has been passed by. S-Hawk along with S-Bear are kneeling and and checking themselves for injuries.
King handle the attack better.
